15 PPSU officers under Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar, East Jakarta are deployed to dredge the Sulaiman connecting channel in RT 01-02/RW 03.

Regarding the channel strewn by mud, he hoped East Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept could find the best solution. If it is ignored, flooding will continue to hit such region.

While Section Head of Maintenance for East Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept, Yoserizal disclosed, the Sulaiman channel is still look for a solution. This is because the water flow goes to under Kalimlang and connecting channel, there is also a PAM pump, thus it is very difficult to be normalized.

"Ideally, the channel's box culvert should be 3-4 meters wide. We're still looking for the solution now," he said.
